Prevalence of diabetes mellitus (DM) is increasing and mostly contributed by type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). DM is the most common cause of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage renal disease in developed as well as in developing countries 1-6. This study was designed to evaluate the frequency of CKD stages 3-5 among ed group of T2DM subjects and to evaluate its relation with ed socio-demographic, clinical and laboratory parameters.
